Pixel Watch 2 Could Come with Wi-Fi Only & LTE Models

After the successful launch of the Pixel Watch, Google is planning to introduce Pixel Watch 2. Further, there are chances the company could launch it in two different variants. One model will be Wi-Fi only, and the other will support LTE connectivity, the same as the Galaxy Watch lineup. These two new variants have been spotted in the Google App code, and it is highlighted by the 9to5google website. The source has found two codenames in the source code that has been applied for both variants.

The two codenames revealed in the source code are Aurora and Eos, the Roman name that defines the characteristics of the watches. The App code also has a linked graphic and screenshots that tell a little about them. Rumors believe Google might go with the same design this year too. If that becomes correct, then we can see the same rounded moniker on Pixel Watch 2. Of course, probably there will be some changes in the design crown button.

Google Pixel Watch 2

A few days back, Google updated the original Pixel Watch with blood oxygen level function. Users can expect ECG, BP, irregular heart rhythm, and LTE connectivity features on the upcoming one. The company will launch Pixel Watch 2 along with Pixel 8 & Pixel 8 Pro phones. It will run on Wear OS 4.0 version with Google’s precious apps like YouTube Music, Gmail, Google Keep, Google Maps, and many more. In the same period, Samsung will launch its Galaxy Watch 6 & Apple Watch Series 9 lineup.
