Samsung’s Exynos with 3nm Process Could Power Galaxy S25

On the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung ditched its Exynos processor for Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 over-clocked processor. The decision by the company turned in their favor, and the sales of Galaxy S23 Ultra have skyrocketed. It is for now, and Samsung could change its decision again, at least one source claims it.

According to the new tipster @tech_reve on Twitter, Samsung could use its Exynos chip with a 3nm processor on Galaxy S25. Further, he mentions it is Samsung’s dream chip on a such high scale, and it likely wants to build it for flagship models again. To remind you, the company has a multi-year agreement with Qualcomm to use its processor on premium phones.

The agreement might be until Galaxy S24, which will be powered by Gen 3 processor, and later we could see an Exynos processor. These are the early details and are highly doubted for now. Talking about the next few years, Qualcomm is also building Gen 3 & Gen 4 chips, which are 20% & 40% faster than Gen 2 & Gen 3 respectively.
