In the latest update of the Expert RAW app, Samsung has brought the Astrophoto mode feature to the older Galaxy S21 series & Galaxy Fold 4 devices. The feature was first launched on the Galaxy S22 series in the early version of Expert RAW, and later it expanded to the Galaxy S23 series. It also supports the previous Galaxy Note 20 & Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones.
With the new camera mode, Galaxy S21 & Fold 4 users can capture much better images of the open sky. It will enhance photography at night if there is a clear sky in your area or less pollution. Photography lovers will surely love this function.
To use the Astrophotography mode, users first need to update the Expert RAW app to the newer 2.0.09.1 app version from Galaxy Store. Further, it requires Android’s latest April security patch on Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Fold 4 to use the mode. To check for new firmware, go to Settings – Software Update, and install a new version.
