It shows there is huge demand for Galaxy Fold in the country. The other telecom operator, SKT has also run out of stock within a few minutes of its opening. Samsung has now officially announced it will release Galaxy Fold on September 6th in South Korea so tomorrow Digital Plaza & other carriers may start to take pre-orders for the device.

Well, this is happening, the KT telecom operator is now ready to take pre-orders for Galaxy Fold in South Korea. The carrier has officially announced that tomorrow, September 5th it will start advance booking for the device. Since yesterday the operator has started taking pre-registration on its website KT Shop.
The customers who have signup to the pre-registration will get notify tomorrow at 11 AM (Korean time) and then the customers can book Galaxy Fold. If you have missed it then signup on KT Shop to get notified.
The KT telecom operator has already declared that they will sell Galaxy Fold on the ‘first come first serve’ basis so the interested customers must book the smartphone before it goes out of stock. The price for this foldable phone set to 2398,000 won in South Korea. It is better to signup to the pre-registration form so you will get notified.
There will be a shortage in the country due to the limited stock. The internal sources have already mentioned Samsung will open a limited quantity to sell, and each carrier will get very few units in the initial.
The other SKT operator has not announced any date for pre-booking although the official website has mentioned ‘coming soon’ banner. As per the information, the launch date for Galaxy Fold is September 6th when Samsung will re-introduce it at the IFA event in Berlin. The advanced booking page will go live tomorrow on the official KT Shop.
