Camera Controller Update Comes to Galaxy Watch 4

Samsung rolled out January 2023 update with new features for Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. This update brings in pretty new features for these devices. Among the new features, the most remarkable are One UI 5.1, camera controller zoom, and connected device diagnostic. As of now, the update is available for Korean users and the company may expand it to other regions soon. It has already been released for Galaxy Watch 5 series.

Camera controllers enable users to experience seamless zooming from their wrist through pinching in or out from the screen of the smartwatch. Further, this can be done through the rotating bezel of the device too. This empowers users to control their smartphone’s camera remotely and adjust it according to their convenience. However, this feature is available for devices launched after Galaxy S20 or Galaxy Z Flip which runs on One UI 5.1.

To get the connected device diagnostic feature, users should update Samsung Members and Galaxy Wearable App to the latest version. Samsung will soon roll out these new features globally in the coming weeks. At present, Korean users of the respective smartwatches can download and install this update.
