Fitbit has launched its most advanced tracker yet to date. The Fitbit Charge 5 offers some of the industry’s innovative & essential health functions on the board. If we start with the ECG, then yes, the company has finally brought the Electrocardiogram function to Charge 5. It is the first activity tracker to offer ECG with AFib features. None of the fitness bands in the market gives ECG options to the users, so Fitbit is one step ahead in this area. However, the function has not yet been activated at launching but will receive it in the future update.
The second best thing that happened to the activity tracker is the EDA sensor. It will detect your stress level in the morning and gives over 300 meditation & mindfulness sessions to minimize it. You can unlock these sessions from Fitbit Premium Coach, which is six months free with the new band. You can also go with regular workout modes if you don’t want to join the paid subscription. On top of that, the SpO2 & skin temperature have made their way through Fitbit Sense. One more thing, there is a GPS positioning function along with other sensors.
This year, it is 11% bigger than the Charge 4, and also come with color AMOLED display. The Charge 5 has 1.05-inch screen with stainless steel case, though weighs only 28g in weight.
In the health section, you can participate in the Daily Readiness program to join daily workouts. Further, heart rate & sleep tracking has joined heart rate variability or HRV. The always-on display will take care of that dead black screen, so it could not come back. To higher the game, seven days of battery life will make enough power to use all these functions.
