Samsung Rep Claims Android 11 for Galaxy S8 & Galaxy S9 Series

Samsung is busy building up the Android 11 version for its new & last year’s flagship devices. From the next month, Samsung will start to deliver One UI 3.0 for all the supported smartphones and Galaxy S20 will be the first to receive it. Now, in a new twist, the Samsung support team on WhatsApp in India is claiming that the company will also release Android 11 for Galaxy S8 & Galaxy S9 lineup. The screenshots shared by users mention the positive answers by Samsung team members.

I know, first I thought, it could be a mistake by a newly joined representative, but more than one customer has received the same answer. Now, is it true or we have to take it as a grain of salt? Last year, when Galaxy S8 users asked the same questions about Android 10, they also had received ‘Yes’ answers, though the company never released it. It could be true with Galaxy S9 & S9+, as it has recently upgraded to the One UI 2.5 version, but there could be less chance for the Galaxy S8 family.
